Description

The Human Resources Manager has the primary responsibility of partnering with management in all areas of Human Resources emphasis on benefits, staffing, employee relations, union relations, payroll, training and development, project planning, compensation, compliance, and HRIS.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Partner with management to ensure proper staffing levels for multiple buildings
- Perform recruitment, new hire and benefit orientation, and new hire paperwork for new employees
- Responsible for employee relations issues, handling confidential issues, conducting investigations and successfully resolving conflicts.
- Maintain and complete forms including leave of absence and disability forms, and employment verifications
- Performs benefits administration in regards to new employees and changes
- Process employment terminations including exit interviews
- Maintains Human Resources Information System records and compile reports
- Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in a timely fashion
- Participate in creating departmental goals, company policies and procedures and projects
- Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Requirements:
  • - Bachelor’s degree required
  • - 3+ years in Human Resources required
  • - Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • - Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • - Proficient in using MS Office programs, especially Excel and Word
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • - Ability to prioritize, multitask, detailed-oriented, and organized
  • - High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
