Description

Respnsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support the laboratory by creating and revising QC documentation (specifications, test methods, SOPs, etc.) and monitor progress through change controls
  • Coordinate with other departments, including the Raw Material Lab, and Project Management to ensure the customer needs are met, while maintaining optimal efficiency
  • Act as liaison between Research and Development and the Quality Control Lab to ensure specifications and test methods are completed according to priority
  • Edit and upload new specifications and CPC Test Methods
  • Draft OOSs and provide support through organizing testing and possible causes
  • Writing CAPAs and Deviations as necessary
  • Maintain spreadsheets for tracking department metrics
  • Provide support to chemists, preparing solution, and researching methods
  • Track samples sent out for outside testing
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Assist with distribution of documents, procedures, and instructions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, graphs/charts and databases
  • Experience with Change Controls, OOSs, CAPAs, and Deviations desirable
  • Ability to multitask on tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
