Description

CPC is seeking an administrative professional with strong organizational skills and a very professional demeanor to manage a reception area while supporting our Purchasing Department. This is an exciting  opportunity with career advancement to learn purchasing while working for a  growing pharmaceutical company.

Reception Area Responsibilities:

  • Meet/ greet vendors and visitors and manage walk-in traffic
  • General phone coverage as needed
  • Maintain copier supplies
  • Coordinated shipping/mail (UPS. FED EX)
  • Sort and distribute mail and faxes
  • Maintain conference rooms
  • General office administrative responsibilities

Purchasing Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for purchasing department
  • Support selected meetings by summarizing meeting minutes
  • Monitor and review inventory levels off suggested order report
  • Run Open Order Reports as needed to ensure and confirm on time delivery of products, review and follow up with appropriate departments and update system
  • Confirmation of purchase orders
  • Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered as promised
  • Maintain component specifications
  • Assisting Purchasing Department  with other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associates Degree; Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of work experience in an office environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, organized, extremely personable and professional
