Description

Establish and maintain retail sales relationships across multiple categories.
Manage inventory, marketing, planning . Overseeing the management and tracking of trade budget to drive strategic development with retail customers.
Help oversee and manage private label bid process for acceptance of new lines and products into retail store brand portfolio.
Establish relationships and drive business both in a top line and bottom line capacity through P&L management and opportunistic business growth opportunities.
Build a cross-functional team both within CPC and also directing external resources as appropriate consisting of Marketing, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance counterparts to deliver sales objectives while increasing market share.
Proactively supporting Account Management and Project Management teams.
Regularly schedule customer visits and attend trade shows as required.

  • CPC is looking to hire a Sales Director. This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding BD team. The purpose of the role is to build close working relationships with retail customers by developing and implementing Key Account Plans to grow the Company’s OTC and DS retail market. This position is based out of a home office, the right candidate will need to be present at company headquarters in Hauppauge, New York as often as necessary for customer site visits, to work collaboratively with colleagues and to perform other on-site work responsibilities. In this position you must be well connected in the pharmaceutical industry with a reputation as an industry leader who is trustworthy, honest and productive contributor. The right candidate will combine a thorough understanding of product development and the commercialization process with competencies in the strategic and tactical aspects of the selling cycle. Qualifications must include:
  • ◦At least ten (10) years pharmaceutical retail sales experience
  • ◦BA Degree Business Management or related ; MBA preferred
  • ◦Direct retail sales, broker management, private label contract management, wholesale and/or sales agent experience.
  • ◦Experience with supply chain and logistics management specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • ◦Work skills must include category management, building customer relations, account management, accounting, work scheduling, problem solving
